Project
Roots of Music – Musical Diversity is the second exchange between Musikschule Soest and IMAD in Cape Town, continuing a partnership that has grown for more than a decade. It builds on Sounds of Sustainability (2020), the remote production Double Rainbow, and the German return visit in 2022. After the South African delegation visited Soest in June/July 2026, preparations are underway for the return visit to Cape Town in March/April 2027. There, a joint project big band will rehearse, lead workshops, and tour the Western Cape, culminating in a concert at Artscape National Theatre.
